Scandinavia and Finland have their differences
(once upon a time each ruled or was ruled by a Nordic
neighbour). But let’s start with the similarities inviting
MANY a visit. The four capitals are among the
world’s most green and lovely, full of fairytale views
and romantic architecture. All built on islands or
around clean water. Boats are the best way to
explore, sometimes cutting through ice. In long
summer twilights the streets and pubs are
alive with pleasure seekers, and for rainy
days there is Nordic design shopping
and some 80 museums in each capital.
